Pastor Dan has been named the Protestant Chaplain for Roger Williams University. This is a volunteer, non-paid position working with the Roman Catholic, Jewish, and Muslim chaplains in support of the spiritual lives of RWU students. In his capacity as Protestant Chaplain, Pastor Dan will be reaching out to students, faculty, and staff, forming relationships and being on call for emergency situations. We look forward to seeing more RWU students in our worship services and becoming involved in our community of faith.

Pastor Dan and Anita Randall will be leading the confirmation class this year. Pastor Dan comes back from the Iona Community with a wealth of ideas to be used in this program. The class culminates with an overnight trip to NYC, where we will stay in the world’s largest Gothic cathedral, St. John the Divine. If you are a 9th or 10th grader and interested in joining the class, please call the church office. The class will begin in October.

Rally Day is quickly approaching. Please mark your calendars for Sunday, September 10th. We will be celebrating the beginning of a new church school year. There will be an all church picnic immediately following worship.
