Hospitality is a very important part of our worship together at First Congregational Church. It gives us time to connect with members and new comers alike in fellowship. We would like to invite families to sign up to host a Sunday hospitality. Please email if you would like to volunteer.
Our annual rummage sale is quickly approaching. We need a great collection of quality odds and ends to keep up our great reputation. Please see the newsletter for a list of items we are particularly interested in. Please do not drop off any items before October 16th.
We will receive new members during the October 29th worship service. This is always a special occasion as newcomers join our faith community. We welcome and encourage each new member to be active participants in our church life.
Our annual Halloween Party will be held on Sunday, October 29th from 4-6pm. There is a sign up sheet in the DeWolf Room if you would like to volunteer to help or plan to attend the event.
Come join us for an afternoon of antique appraisals and a silent auction on Sunday, October 15th from 3:00pm – 5:00pm. Robin Jenkins, Alfred Brazil, John Hanafin, and Jack Winer will be appraising antiques, jewelry, and collectibles. A $5 admission fee includes one appraisal or you can have three items appraised for $10. There are currently more than 60 items for the silent auction – including donations from FCC members, Jesse James Antiques, Robin Jenkins Antiques, Alfred’s, Dantiques, Muzzie’s Attic, Eagle’s Nest, Leonards New England, and more!
