This year the 77th Annual Holiday Bazaar will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2007 from 10:00am-3:00pm, with a theme of “Harvest Moonâ€. By holding the bazaar in November, we are hoping to pull in early shoppers before all the local December fairs/events, and provide an opportunity for our church members to join in the fun. We all can then attend the wonderful holiday plays, musical entertainment, school and work parties, and still have time to finish our Christmas baking, shopping, caroling, etc.
Another beautiful quilt designed and made by Sandra Reynolds is being raffled. Tickets will be available soon.
The Women’s Guild will be selling hand made knit and crocheted items such as mittens, blankets, baby outfits, ornaments, cards…. This year they will also offer items handcrafted in other countries and purchased through SERV for resale here to benefit…. IF you are a crafter and you have pieces to donate to be sold please let us know.
Dan and Anita’s Country Store will be stocked and waiting. Perhaps you have some homemade jams/preserves, canned vegetables or fruits from your garden or pickles, relish, etc… Let us know.
Anne Archibald and Randi Mather are in charge of the plant area and are already getting items together.
Of course, no bazaar would be complete without the Lobster Luncheon. The ladies who work the luncheon each year faithfully have asked for some helpers. If interested in helping with any part of the Bazaar, please let Barbara Ringland or Margaret Arruda know.
Thank you.
