Quilt Raffle
The holiday quilt raffle, originally scheduled for last Sunday, was postponed because of the church cancellation. Instead, we will hold the raffle this Sunday, after church. Good luck!

Church Service Canceled
Due to inclement weather, Pastor Dan and the Deacons have decided to cancel today’s church service. The Deacons are still planning to gather around 4pm to organize the Christmas food baskets. If the weather becomes better and you haven’t yet dropped off your food donations, the Deacons would appreciate it if you could sometime during the early afternoon.

Birthday Party for Jesus
This past Sunday the children celebrated with a birthday party for Jesus. Fun was had by all, as you can clearly see in these photos.

Basket of Warmth
We are continuing to collect items for our basket of warmth. Please bring in new hats, scarves, mittens and gloves for women and children. All donations are going to the Women’s Resource Cednter so that we may provide warmth to those in need this winter. The 3rd and 4th grade classes, along with help from the kindergarten and 7th and 8th grade classes, have made two fleece blankets for the Center. our kids are learning first hand what it means to give to others! We will continue to collect these items through February.
Open and Affirming Forum

Open and Affirming Forum
On Sunday December 9th, after worship, the Open and Affirming Committee will present the first of several forums. This forum is called “The Human Face of Homosexuality and the Family”. The panel will include parents with gay children and gay individuals who are active in their church, along with ordained clergy familiar with this topic. The congregation is encouraged to attend as we begin the important process leading to an informed decision about becoming an Open and Affirming Congregation.

Dianne Demarco will be teaching several yoga classes at our church for a nominal fee. She is a wonderful personal trainer and talented yoga teacher. We are blessed to have her sharing her gifts with us.
Please let the church office know, or use our online contact form, if you plan to atten. It will be helpful to have an idea of our class size for planning purposes. Danielle has some yoga mats available for purchase – please let us know if you have your own mat or will be purchasing one from Danielle.
Sessions are $5 per class.
Christmas Eve Service

We will hold a special family oriented candlelight service on Christmas Eve starting at 6:00pm. Please join us for this special service. The church is normally quite crowded, so you might want to plan on arriving a little earlier than normal.
