The Christian Education Committee will be sponsoring a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, February 5, 6-7:30 p.m. in the DeWolf Room. If you will be attending, please sign-up on the DeWolf room bulletin board or call the Christian Ed director so we know how much food to make. A free-will offering will be taken.

The Board of Deacons
‘Christmas Food Basket Mission Project’
The Board worked with local agencies to provide food for those in need. With the many volunteers, they were able to put together 33 baskets.
The Board of Deacons would like to thank everyone who came out to help put the Christmas Boxes together for the families in Bristol. The day was awful but the willingness from all who came was great.
Pledge envelopes for the year “2008†are awaiting pick-up in the narthex. All members are asked to pick them up before or after worship. If special arrangements need to be made, please call the church office.
The Nominating Committee is looking for someone to chair this committee and for people who are willing to bake and take care of keeping the creamer and sugar bowls filled on a monthly basis. Unfortunately, if someone doesn’t come forward there will be no goodies at coffee hour. The coffee will still flow but there will be no pastries.

Copies of the Annual Report should be available for members to read in preparation for the Annual Meeting being held on February 10, 2008.

In order to compile the Annual Report before the February 10, 2008 meeting, we need all chairperson(s) and treasurers to provide a copy of their committee report to the office no later than January 14, 2008.

The Annual Meeting is fast approaching. This year, the Annual Meeting will be on February 10, 2008. Would the chairperson(s) and treasurer of each committee please have your reports emailed or on a cd to the church office by January 14, 2008, so I may put the report together and have it printed in time to have available to the church membership by January 27, 2008.
