We received word this week that HUD in Providence has approved the space at Franklin Court for our new food pantry and thrift shop. This exciting news now means we can go into the next phase: planning and building.
After the holidays we will be working with the staff at Franlin Court and the Town of Bristol to turn our plans into reality. One of our first steps will be to finalize a floor plan and begin to gather ideas for building and construction. We have already reache out to the faculty and staff of Mt. Hope High School to see if their home building program might want to partner with us.
What are your ideas?

At 6PM on Wed. December 24 join us for one of FCC’s outstanding worship services – The Family Christmas Eve Service. Joining sacred music with scripture, hymns with stories of the Jesus’ birth, and a very special visit from Tommy the Church Mouse, this service appeals to the young and young at heart!
Special music, ancient chant, moving Scripture and a thought-provoking Christmas message by Pastor Dan combine to lead us into a sacred space and hopeful action in the world. Let joy fill your hearts and love lift your spirits when we sing “Silent Night” together, aglow in the the Light that Shines through all darkness.
Come, be filled and be blessed. Invite your friends, they will be glad they partcipated with you!

On Saturday at 9am we will be constructing our famous Nativity Scene on the church yard. It can be a fun experience for children to help place the baby Jesus, animals etc. and we need a hearty group of adults who can put together the Nativity Barn. Bring weather appropriate gear, a hammer, zip strips to tie the animals to their “posts” and about one hour of your time.
MEETING TIME: 9AM SATURDAY in front of the church!
