SENIOR HIGH YOUTH RETREAT!  Open for all in grades 9-12!

Our first ever Fall Senior High Retreat is coming up soon! This year the retreat is Friday, September 28 – Saturday, September 29 at Irons Homestead, our UCC retreat center. It is a beautiful place and much loved by our youth and staff.

What do we do on this retreat?  We will plan our Senior High Program for the year. Youth will get to vote on service, leaning and fun programs. Youth may bring friends as long as they intend to participate in the program. We will also talk about the exciting new CANteen youth program at the East Bay Food Pantry! And, of course, the staff will have some “fun up their sleeves.”

The retreat leaders this year are Pastor Dan, Helen Sousa, Justin Riccio and Cheryl Rogers.

What to bring: Toiletries, towel, flashlight, sleeping bag. (They have pillows there) Appropriate, comfortable clothing for weather forecast. We will have some snacks for you, but you may bring your favorite to share. A camera if you wish. Cell phone use is not allowed at the retreat unless the matter is urgent.  Time to unplug!

Details: Meet Friday, September 28 at 4:00pm at FCC. Carpool with leaders. Prior to the trip you must have a completed and signed consent form.  Consent forms are available in the Church Office.

Food – we will have pizza, etc. Friday night and make a breakfast Saturday morning. We always have more than enough!

Please let us know no later than September 15 if your youth will be attending all or part of the event! Thank you!
