Membership

First Congregational Church in Bristol is a growing and thriving community of faith. We welcome everyone into our church, either as participants or members.

Membership means making a public commitment to being a part of our church. It also allows you to play a part in DEMOCRACY! It means you have a vote in what happens at FCC, and it also means you can serve on certain boards and committees. The United Church of Christ founded the town governance model where everyone has their say, but not everyone has their way!

If you wish to join the church, simply let Pastor Burton know. Sign the visitor card in the pews so you will receive congregational communication.

New member classes are held in the Fall and Spring of every year. You will be notified about these classes, or you may meet with Pastor Burton if needed at another time. The classes are informal and our aim is not to make it difficult to join our church, but to get you involved in our ministries of love, justice and service!
